Children

Children as young as two can experience foot related problems. This may become evident in the form of restless sleep.

In a general sense footwear for toddlers can be very weak and unable to provide support for the whole body.

This may lead to the skeleton being out of balance, putting undue stress and strain on their bodies as they go about their day. Undue pressure can give rise to a painful nights sleep as their bodies relax from the day’s activities

There are some remedies for you to consider to help your child.

  • Lightly massage and exercise their feet and legs at bedtime.
  • Buy only good quality boots and shoes.
  • Have an assessment done of their feet and footwear.

When it comes to making decisions about your child’s feet, remember.
Prevention is better than the cure.
