Back, Heel and knee pain

These conditions are very common and it seems any one anywhere can suddenly be hit with back, heel or knee pain. The cause of these disabling conditions can be heavy lifting, incorrect bending, prolonged standing and walking on hard surfaces, sleeping on an unsupportive bed, injury and others.
Most back problems are the outcome of incorrect posture, affecting all ages. With conventual treatments focusing on effective pain relief, and the use of surgery to correct structural problems, many sufferers continue to experience pain.

Attention is often focused only on the area of discomfort, frequently in the upper body. Foot care specialists have discovered that attention needs to be directed a little lower …at the feet.

Assessment of an individual’s feet and footwear forms the basis of treatment. With the use of medical grade footwear and orthoses, re-alignment of the individual’s skeletal structure can be achieved, correcting posture, and consequently relieving chronic pain from the feet up.

While attention to feet and footwear is not the cure for all it is a cure for many heel, knee, neck and back pain sufferers, it provides a practical and inexpensive alternative for many who experience chronic pain.

Make sure your feet provide you with a firm foundation, and walk tall!
