Women
Pregnant
women often suffer with chronic pain from the feet up.
Because
they are carrying a child they think it is natural to feel aches
and pain - the answer is NO it is not natural to have pain and
aches even when you are pregnant.
Because
of the extra weight the body has to carry, the feet are under
extra pressure and stress. If there is a lack of arch support in
the footwear prior to pregnancy, then the problem becomes
exaggerated during pregnancy as the weight increases.
With
no arch support, arches collapse, ankles pronate and posture
deteriorates, resulting in general aches and pains.
During
pregnancy ligaments soften as the body comes under the influence
of hormones, adapting to accommodate the growing baby. As
ligaments soften, joints have less structural support causing
general pains. Some relief is available that is practical, simple,
and safe in its application.
