By starting with a simple pedograph of your feet, the foot care specialist can determine the shape of your arch, and whether standing pressure changes that shape.

A pedograph requires the individual to stand on a small slide, producing a carbon copy of the foot on paper underneath. No mess, quick and easy – the density of carbon print demonstrates clearly any areas of increased pressure when standing.

Assessment of ankles, knees and hips also reveals anomalies such as leg length differences,  knock knees and weakened or pronating ankles.

Armed with information about the shape of your under foot arch, and any changes in the shape of your lower limb joints, a Medical grade footwear practitioner,  can confidently and accurately prescribe medical grade footwear or orthoses, to meet your individual needs.
