Tight
Shoes
Tight shoes are the enemy of
your feet! Not only do they make your feet hurt when you stand or
walk, but they can do permanent damage to your feet, posture and
body alignment
If your shoes or boots are tight
and uncomfortable, see your foot and shoe specialist.
The following helpful hints may
help you treat some foot and shoe problems.
- If shoes are tight get them
stretched.
- Check your feet for uneven
bones, tender spots, bunions, corns, etc.
- Check for rough surfaces
inside shoes and have them treated.
Many people have problems at the
back of the heels, mainly because a small bone protrudes. This may
even wear out the inside of the shoe. Simple spot stretching to
shape the back of the shoe or boot will allow room for the bone to
fit and reduce discomfort.
- Stay away from footwear that
is easy to bend under the arch.
- Have adjustments made
regularly to your footwear as needed
Step
out of that tight spot and walk with happy feet. |
