Flat Feet

When it comes to having flat feet, Donald Duck is an expert, and he gets on very well with them! Unlike those of the famous duck, flat feet in children and adults take on various shapes and can be inherited.

Flat feet refer to flattened arches. While approximately 1/4 of the population have flat feet or flattened arches, quite a number develop the condition.

When individuals with medium, high or very high arches wear footwear without arch support pressure is applied through standing and walking, the unsupported arch begins to fall. In the sitting position when the feet and arches are under no pressure, the arch appears normal. When standing pressure is applied, the unsupported arch flattens by falling inward, creating flat feet.

There is a solution in fact it’s right under your feet.

  • By purchasing footwear with the appropriate support for your arch shape, or having semi ridged orthoses inserted into your shoes.

Support your arches and flatly refuse to develop flat feet!
